Objective

An objective of this survey is to identify employment barriers experienced by designated employees in the workplace and recommend corrective measures as part of new Employment Equity Plan that will seek to:
• Promote equal opportunity and fair treatment in employment through the elimination of unfair discrimination; and
• Redress the disadvantages in employment experienced by designated groups, in order to ensure their equitable representation in all occupational levels.

The policies and procedures listed herewith are not exhaustive, so you may add any other policy or procedure deemed to be posing barrier for employment and or promotion of designated employees into positions in your business unit.

The instructions:

• Indicate on each category whether the identified barrier is a result of policy; procedure and or practice, then suggest an Affirmative Action measure to be taken.
